Donna Maxwell learned most of what she knows about baking and cooking at the hem of her grandmother's skirt, but that is not all...

Donna was the first Chef to be hired by H-E-B's famous Central Market as a consultant. She was soon lured away by a very prominent Austin family who wanted her to serve as their personal chef.

After serving as a personal chef for six years, she wanted to return to her first love, baking. So, with love and true entrepreneurial spirit, Donna began baking cakes out of her kitchen and carrying them to various festivals around the State of Texas. She began to develop quite a reputation as the cake lady with the fabulous apple cake. You can still find her occasionally at a festival or fair around the state. If you do see her booth, please come up to her, she loves to visit and give you a taste of her latest creation.

For her first season, Donna baked over 800 cakes and shipped them as far as Alaska, Hawaii and Hollywood.
Donna also caters in the Austin area.
